Excursion

　On the afternoon of 5th June, we will take you to the fifth station of "Mt. Fuji" by bus, then the historical shrine "Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja." In the evening, we will dine at a local restaurant "Yougan Onsen."
　We are welcoming all participants and accompanying persons to join the excursion.
*Depending on the situation, the plan might be changed.

We recommend you to bring something warm to wear since it will get cold around the fifth station, we also recommend you to bring a waterproof jacket for in case of rain.

Details & Tips

1. The fifth station of Mt. Fuji (Fuji Subaru Line)

　"Fuji Subaru Line" is one of the climbing route of Mt. Fuji, starts from Fujiyoshida. We will visit the 5th station by bus ride, almost the half point of the Mt. Fuji trail.
*The temperature at the 5th station is lower. Bringing outerwear might be a good idea.
**The ground may be slightly lough. Wearing comfortable shoes are recommended.
***Climbing up from the station is prohibited in June, please note.

2. Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja

　This shrine has nearly 1900 years of history and has been registered as peripheral assets of the world heritage Mt. Fuji. At this shrine, we are welcoming all participants and accompanying persons to pray the expansion of SuperDARN in Japanese style.

3. Dinner at "Yougan Onsen"

　The Japanese style grilled meat restaurant. The owner makes the grill-plate by Lava of Mt. Fuji. We hope you'd enjoy cooking the top rank WAGYU on the lave plate by yourself.
　We will also prepare special ingredients for vegans.

Excursion for accompany persons

　During the workshop, short day trip for accompany persons will be also available.
